Wine Not?

Making things “your own” brings more meaning and thought to housewares and decorations. Spending a lot of my down time on Pinterest, usually when I try to get some studying done, has really interested me in decorating a few of my own glasses. After seeing one pin on my feed, I searched “wine glass decorating” and was completely surprised by how many ideas I found. Decorated wine glasses would make perfect bridesmaid, birthday, or even Christmas gifts.

There is such a variety of ways to decorate wine glasses. Dipping the base of a wine glass in chalk board paint is a very practical idea, especially if you host parties or have get togethers frequently. Being able to write names on the bottom of the glasses would solve the problem of setting glasses down and getting mixed up with someone else’s. At the end of the night, the chalk can be washed off and used another night with someone else’s name. Even when you are not hosting a gathering, the black chalkboard paint can be left plain black and still look nice.

Weddings cost a fortune, so any cheap but still cute and thoughtful gifts here and there could save a good chunk of change. Like I said before, there are so many different themes and ideas for decorating glasses, so you can choose colors for whatever occasion you are preparing for. A few plain $1 wine glasses from Walmart and some Sharpies or paint pens is all you need to whip up a few fun bridesmaid favors!
